Welcome to Aterra: A New Chapter in Luxury Travel

Behind Aterra’s inspiration.

Hello, and welcome to Aterra.

I’m Amanda Kam, and I’m so excited to finally share this vision with you.
Aterra was born out of my love for meaningful, soul-stirring travel and a desire to redefine what “luxury travel” truly means — not as excess, but as depth, authenticity, and connection.

Why Aterra Exists

For years, I’ve watched how traditional luxury travel can be indulgent but not always impactful — often missing the quiet magic of connecting deeply with place, people, and purpose.
Aterra was created as an antidote to that: a way to see the world with care, intention, and respect at its heart.

Our journeys are designed to be intimate, transformative, and responsible — from tracking wildlife alongside conservationists in Namibia, to sharing a meal with a Peruvian chef preserving ancestral recipes, or exploring sacred lands with local custodians in Bhutan. Every itinerary is built to honor both the traveler and the destination.

What You Can Expect From Us
